COTTAGE FOR SALE- OLINDA

Spotted this sweet little 1920s cottage in Olinda, which is smack bang in the mountain forest area of Melbourne where we want to live. Nestled in some fantastic gardens, it has just the right amount of DIY-fixer-upper that we want and could handle : a fresh white paint job, a few gaps to be filled in, knock out a couple of wall areas to open it up a little, do some window modifications and the bathroom needs some urgent attention. I'm thinking clawfoot tub and some white subway tiles would be in order.

But still, good bones, brand new kitchen, and a small footprint which is what we're slowly coming around to the idea of - with potential to add on if we stay out there and outgrow it. Hell, depending on where the cottage is on the property, even live in there while we organise our big prefab home.

Gonna go buy me a lotto ticket at lunchtime...
